Purchased for use in a summer lakefront cottage that suffers heavy humidity. Pros: airtight, small enough for a small table but large enough to require only infrequent refill. Nice shape and color. Cons: Not eligible for free shipping when purchased with other items, so the overall price is way too high. Seems like an item that Amazon should stock and ship itself.

These salt shakers are a real necessity for those of us who live in high-humidity areas. They close tightly and keep the salt flowing freely. The product is much improved over earlier types whose tops broke off or did not close securely.

I always like shakers that you can close up and avoid humidity and used to buy the Rubbermaid ones in the store, but haven't been able to find. The problem with these Tuperware ones is that the holes are too small; most particularly the pepper.

They were so cute. I love them. And the price was great too. I wish they would have been just a little bigger, but I still love them.

These are nice and small salt and pepper shakers for traveling of any kind. The holes are too small for pepper to come out however I just drilled them out bigger on the one lid. They work great in the motorhome as they don't hold too much where it would get old.

tupperware you have done an outstanding job of giving us quality products! these shakers go from the kitchen table to outdoor bbq and places in betweeen. this is my second set of these shakers......the first set lasted 30 years and was still going strong until someone placed them near a pot of boiling water. Here's to another 30 years!!

We had these when I was a kid and they always worked pretty good. But on the old set, the lids were made of the same white plastic as the bodies. The orange plastic is more "rubbery," so the hinges bind and don't rotate the way they did with the stiffer, more "plastic-y" lids. So instead of rotating open and closed, the rubbery orange lids just sort of bend in-between the cap and the hinge. The bad hinge rotation makes it a pain to open them because instead of rotating, they just sort of bend out of the way while you are pushing and then go back to half-open once you let go. Bad decision, Tupperware.

The picture looks larger than it is, like the idea of it, will keep. It's around 2" tall, pricey for what it is.

I got one for myself and for my mom! It's the perfect size for your lunch cooler. Instead of regular pepper I added habanero powder because I love spice and I couldn't find a decent dispenser but this one worked perfectly.

I've been looking for a quality 2-in-1 salt and pepper shaker for a while - unfortunately I'm going to have to keep looking. While the outer seal keeps the contents inside, the inner seal allows the contents to move between the two compartments.
