They tend to be portrayed as benign, ugly, clumsy, but with hidden talents. Examples include Michigan J. Frog, The Frog Prince, and Kermit the Frog. Michigan J. Frog, featured in a Warner Brothers cartoon, only performs his singing and dancing routine for his owner. Once another person looks at him, he will return to a frog-like pose. "The Frog Prince" is a fairy tale of a frog who turns into a handsome prince once kissed. Kermit the Frog, on the other hand, is a conscientious and disciplined character of Sesame Street and The Muppet Show; while openly friendly and greatly talented, he is often portrayed as cringing at the fanciful behaviour of more flamboyant characters.

My girlfriend is a big Nightmare Before Christmas fan and collects the figurines. I bought these for her birthday and she just loves them. A great gift for anyone who's into NBC.

I absolutely love Nightmare Before Christmas, so I was really excited about getting these cool little salt and pepper shakers. When I finally received them, I was a little disappointed, but they're still very cool. The picture makes them look like they're made out of steel or something similar to that, but they are actually made of glass and they're really glossy. I was hoping for a more grungy feel like in the movie. They are about 3 inches tall, which is the standard size of most salt and pepper shakers. Other than that, they're still pretty neat!

just the perfect gift for someone who loves Tim Burton's Nightmare and kitchen items.
